Ah yes, the best summer on record continues. Just one bad spate of heat and now rumors of more rain ahead! Other excitement? Tonight I finished Dog Day Afternoon after only 3 sittings. Though I have seen it a couple of times before, I seemed to recall a much bloodier ending that included helicopters. What, praytell, am I confusing this with?

Anyway, a brief respite from my fiction phobia. While scanning the pages of the Creation book I have most recently stumbled across, Meat is Murder, I have finally been taken up with the urge to read the entire 100 pages of Heart of Darkness. We’ll see how far that goes. 10 pages so far, I blame the failure on my lack of clarity of vision…
